Andrew Lancaster's debut feature film, Accidents Happen (starring Geena Davis) premiered at Tribeca Film Festival and was released through Hopscotch Films in March 2010. In 2001 his short film In Search Of Mike had its world premiere at Sundance Film Festival and picked up both a Dendy Award and the prestigious Rouben Mamoulian Award at the Sydney Film Festival. He was awarded the 'Rising Talent' award at the 2002 IF Awards.

Andrew is a graduate of the Australian Film Television and Radio School. The two short films he made whilst studying at AFTRS - Palace Cafe and Universal Appliance Co. - have won fifteen awards worldwide.

Andrew's career has successfully combined music and film. He composed the scores for The Hunter, West and Garage Days, and directed over 20 music videos for acts such as Custard, You Am I, Josh Pyke and Midnight Oil. He has won two ARIA Awards for Best Australian Music Video.

Andrew is part of a collective of composers called 'Sonar' - a specialised music production company for film and TV. Sonar's credits include the scores for Animal Kingdom, as well as TV series The Slap, Rake, Wild Boys and The Tall Man.
